Post install steps

Once you have set up your local node there are three manual steps that are required:

  • Configure xnat instance name
  • Configure data-freeze
  • Add new datatypes

Configure XNAT

The default credentials are admin/admin.  The first time you login you will be first confronted with a page that demands you configure your instance.

You’ll first need to configure XNAT

After you’ve added a site ID, and perhaps added a site description and checked the site admin email address, click the save button at the bottom of the screen

This would be a good time to change the admin password by clicking the admin link in the top bar.

Configure data-freeze

The next task is to configure the data-freeze module.  Select the Administer > Configuration menu item to see the configuration page again and then select the furthest right tab, DataFreeze.

There are files which contain suggested values for the anon and payload textareas in the freeze directory of the vagrant project.  Make sure that there is a blank line at the end of the Anon Script block.  Click save at the bottom of the page.

Add new Data Types

Two DPUK Data Types need to be registered.   Select the Administer > Data Types menu item. The two new data types are dpuk:dpukAssessmentData and dpuk:dpukRiskFactorsAssessmentData.

Click the “Setup Additional Data Type” button and then select the first new data type.

Enter “DPUK Assessment” and “DPUK Assessments” for the singular and plural names.  Click through the next wizard page and close the final page to see the new dpukAssessmentData type registered.

Repeat for Risk factors.
